Located conveniently near the train station, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. The hotel is also close to attractions like the castle compound and museums, providing opportunities for interesting and cultural experiences. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing assistance and recommendations when needed.
The hotel decor felt outdated and could use some updating. Furthermore, the lack of menus on display made it difficult to decide on dining options.

Conveniently located across from the train station, the Kakegawa Grand Hotel offers spacious rooms and a charming, dated decor. The King suite we stayed in was unexpectedly large and the rates were reasonable. We loved the breakfast buffet and the coin-operated laundry in the parking garage. The hotel also provided helpful tourist information. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Kakegawa.

Conveniently located near a major transportation hub and easy to navigate to surrounding attractions from there. Rooms were reasonably clean and had all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the Japanese style business hotel atmosphere.
The hotel's age was slightly noticeable, and the rooms would have benefitted from modern updates and brighter lighting. Nearby restaurants were scarce and required a bit of a walk in less than desirable weather conditions.

We had an amazing new year experience at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They offered complimentary champagne and traditional Japanese snacks for the celebration. The location was perfect as it was just a few steps away from the train station and a beautiful castle. The room was very spacious and clean, and we loved the comfortable bed. One of the best aspects was the delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of options to choose from.
We were disappointed by the lack of facilities such as a fitness center or pool. The elevator was a bit slow, but not a major issue.
